How long have you been dancing salsa?
Salsa: On and off since 1996 (more off than on)
About Me:
I have danced competitively for a couple of years with a collegian ballroom team, and have competed last in Standard pre-champ and Latin Gold.
I enjoy practicing, competing, and improving. Next to focusing on technique, I like to work on the character of each dance. Since dancing is important to me, I am looking for someone, who is interested in a strong dance-partnership.

Well my friend, the margaritas and beer won't do me any good....I don't drink, but perhaps we could do dry runs of different patterns.
If we can get there either at or around 8, maybe we'll run into John and Andrea. They usually get there early, and are already on the dancefloor.

Just out of curiosity, are you german? You said something about your mother wanting you to come home for christmas in germany?

Let's hold off on the neck drop...I am not proficient enough for that, and I certainly don't want to disturb any injury recovery. Also forget the cross-body lean as well since it involves the woman bending over backwards.

Try typing in surprise neck drop and see if you can get in that way. Which one do you know?

Oh cool!!!! That's great! Well, on that note, I'll look into coming home on 5 november.

Here are some examples of the patterns that I do:

1. Titanic
2. Crossbody lean (salsa pattern with tango flavor).
3.Surprise neck drop (but need work on this one )!
4. copa
5. Looping left dip

Absolutely! Would love to meet up and dance ( or at least try to anyway...) with you, but I can tell right now that I would be super intimidated. You are a pro at this obviously, and I consider myself an intermediate student. I get all tensed up in situations like this, but I also like the opportunity to learn a thing or two. Of course, if you are ever in the dallas area, and are not sure where to go, contact me....I know where to go to have a good time.

Not sure, but it is possible that I may be coming home not this wednesday, but the wednesday after. Would you be free to come out then?
So help me, if I lived in little rock, I would take you up on your desire to to practice. This is what I crave and am a firm believer in. I constantly go around asking women if they would like to get together to practice, but it is so hard to coordinate.
Have you ever instructed salsa?
