Salseras Makeup Makeover Class!
Hey ladies,
Just wanted to give you all a heads up! I've been noticing our makeup habits (NYC, Cover Girl, Maybelline, Mary Kay, etc.) and I rreeeaaaallly want to at least introduce you guys to the idea of mineral makeup. You may be sort of familiar with it, probably have heard of Bare Essentials, yes?
Well minerals aren't just about being the latest trend or fashion craze. It really is hands down better for your skin. The sad fact is that the makeup that most of us use just ages our skin prematurely and when there are alternatives out there, there's no reason for us to do that to ourselves:)!
So! As my public service for the salsa community here, I want to host a free "makeover/learn about minerals" session some time soon and I'll give everyone a free whatever they want to start their mineral collection and start replacing the not-so-good for you makeup. I'm so serious about this ladies..this is really important to me:).
I'll keep you posted (someone want to offer their abode? Mine is kinda small) and in the meantime, you can check out my site where I sell my makeup. http://www.etniqminerals.com Yep I make my own minerals. The reason why I started was because I'm a fairly holistic girl (in another life, I was a treehugging activist;)) and when I started dancing I started wearing makeup. But I wasn't going to put gunky makeup on so I learned how to make good makeup instead:). Forever the engineer;).

Ok ladies! I'm gonna set a date, woohoo!
I'll be hosting our little makeover session on Sunday, Dec. 6 at my house (eek!! :)) from 5 to 6ish. That way we'll be done early enough to get some rest for the next day and start late enough for everyone to be able to make it;).
So mark your calendars ladies and tell some friends! I'm thinking I can host 6 of us comfortably:). I'll provide some goodies and why not make it a potluck, everybody bring your favorite goodies:).
