Hi, my name is Emma. I just moved to Little Rock and I want to learn Salsa. Is there any place that I can go to learn? It's just me so I wouldn't have a partner. I know sometimes not having a partner can be difficult to get someone teach you. But I am very interested in Salsa.
I just moved to the Little Rock Metro area also and interested in dancing Salsa. Please let me know what you find out and I will do the same. Thanks in advance!
Hi Louis, thanks for the website...I have actually been attending the Rumba room on Wednesday's Sarah teaches the class and she is really good. You should stop by, the crowd there is really nice. The free lessons start at 7:30pm, the crowd doesn't usually start until about 10, but you have a good group there for the free lessons. Look forward to seeing you one Wednesday.
Hi Louis, Ronnie is right that addictedtosalsa is a great resource (Andy uses it a lot). You are welcome to check out our class this afternoon from 5 - 6:30 at let's dance. We work on beginner/intermediate moves that can be used on the dance floor Wednesdays. And Emma is right...Wednesday's crowd is great, and the class is one of the most fun I have ever taught since people are so enthusiastic about learning to salsa. How we break it down is that I teach the beginner class, which is the same one each week, and Andy teaches the intermediate class for folks who want to sharpen technique and add new moves to their dancing. I recommend someone who has never danced before to take the beginner class 2-3 times and then move up into the intermediate...hope to see you on the dance floor!
